Here we go again - another contest, hosted by me. The contest starts Monday, May 25, 2008 and ends Friday, July 25, 2008. That gives you three months to submit entries and/or donate prizes! Winners will be decided by a poll, which will go up the day the contest is over.

Rules
- There will be one first place winner, one second place winner and one third place winner ("Top Three"). There will also be three runners-up.
- Each contestant may submit as many entries as they desire. You can not win more then one spot in the Top Three, or more then one spot in the Three Runners-up. You cannot win a spot in both groups.
- You must use at least one piece of stock per submission from my stock account, located here.
- The entry must have been submitted after the start date of the contest.
- Once your entry is submitted to dA, you must note me with a link to the deviation. Note me on this account, not my stock account.
- You must give credit to any stock, if used. I will check.
- Voting will be held by a poll. Do not vote for yourself. When you vote, you must leave a comment saying who you voted for and the title of their entry.
- Only voters who leave comments saying who they voted for will be counted. Twelve votes in the poll, but only five comments saying you got voted for? Then that entry only gets five votes. This is to make it as fair as possible.

Prizes
It will be the winners' responsibility to claim their prizes. I'm not going to hold your hand to make sure you claim your prizes. If you would like to donate a prize, note me with what you're willing to donate. I will keep this list updated as donations come in. Prize donators can submit entries to the contest. Prizes will be accepted until July 18, 2008.

Please visit this website if you have art on dA - I've already come across several stolen artworks.

`Elandria's recent post about this site is what led me to it. After trying to learn how to report several users who are claiming stolen art as their own, I found out - there's no "Copyright Infringement"! And you can't report the individual art, oh no, that would be too easy! You have to report the user. So I go the person's profile, click "Report to Zedge", and find out I can only report someone for one of the following: Inappropriate Content, Offensive Material, Harassment, Fake Profile, Underage User, Spammers/Spamming/Advertising, Offensive Avatar, Offensive Profile and Inappropriate/Offensive Username. WTF?! You can report someone if you don't like their user name, but not for stealing artwork?!

However, you can contact Zedge using this little form; the form has a drop-down box that says Issue, and it does have a Copyright Issues option - hallelujah! I hate that site - it is obviously run by people who have no idea, or don't care, about copyright. If they knew or cared, surely they would have things in place already to make it easier to report stolen art.

Myself, I think the site should be reported to their web host and/or ISP. Click here to view the information for their domain (including contact info). Guess what? They're stationed here in the states, in Newark, New Jersey.

I found out Saturday night that I'm pregnant. I did a test at a friend's house, and haven't been to the doctor yet, but I know I can't be more than two months along. I got confirmation this morning from a clinic. The dad is in shock, but I've already decided I'm keeping it, regardless of whether or not he's in the picture.

My web hosting business, End of Story Web Hosting, is up! I need clients, so if you're looking for a host, please give my company a look.

I'm going to be churning out logo and web site designs like crazy for awhile, for my portfolio (and to help me get reacquainted with the different web languages and styles again). Once I feel confident again (give me about four or five more designs, and I'll feel like I've "got my groove back" after being out of the web design business for over a year), I'll start accepting web design clients. Once I feel more comfortable with logo design, I'll accept clients for that as well.

I've got about twenty tutorials to try out at the moment, but I'm sure that number will grow... heh. If you know of any good web and/or logo design tutorials, send the link my way - I'll be trying all sorts of different things within the next few months.
